Graduate Certificate Programs - Program Management

Project Managers are responsible for leading cross-functional teams in accomplishing a discrete project.  The role requires excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking, and management skills.  As organizations – and jobs – become more and more complex, more managers are finding themselves involved in some form of project management.  The Project Management Graduate Certificate provides a solid foundation for managing projects of all types.

Students must earn at least a 'B' grade point average (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) - both overall and on final projects completed as part of the capstone course.

Students within the Project Management complete the following four courses:

  • MSM 505 Project Management
  • MSM 507 Project Scheduling & Cost Control
  • MSM 508 Risk Management
  • MSM 590 Advanced Topics in Project Management
