MSPS offers three different bachelor's degree programs:

In general, the degree programs require a minimum of 120 credit hours completed with at least a 2.0 grade point average. A minimum of 36 credits must be taken at The Catholic University of America. Most programs consist of a core curriculum, major course requirements, possibly "track" course requirements, and free electives. MSPS degree programs place special emphasis on interdisciplinary learning that links theory and practice. The curriculum is designed to develop six essential learning outcomes:

  1. English Proficiency
  2. Critical Inquiry
  3. Social Responsibility
  4. Multicultural and International Perspectives
  5. Computer Literacy
  6. Self-directed learning

At the foundation of all three programs is a core curriculum requiring completion of 57 credits. The core is made up of the following general course requirements:
