Biography

Dr. Roy Littlefield holds a BA in History and Political Scince from Dickinson College; and he earned both his MA and PhD from Catholic University, majoring in Law, American History, Politics and European Intellectual History. He has been
an adjunct professor at CUA since 1980, teaching the Senior Seminar and courses in Politics, American and World History, and Law. He has written three books and over 5200 industry and academic articles.
 
After gaining four plus years of experience on Capitol Hill on the staffs of U.S. Senator Thomas McIntyre and Senate Sergeant-at-arms F. Nordy Hoffman, Dr. Littlefield began an extensive career in Washington interest group asssociations.He currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Tire Industry Association. He is also a leader in numerous Washington influential public affair groups, including the Small Business Legislative Council, (Past President), the Highway Users Alliance (Treasurer), the Capital Area Transportation Federation (President), the Maryland Highway Users Federation (President), the Maryland Society of Association Executives (Past President), the National Democratic Club, and the Capitol Hill Republican Club.
