CUA's Metropolitan Schoool of Professional Studies offers a full range of Human Resource programs designed to meet the educational and professional development needs of you and your organization. Program offerings include the following:






 

 


SHRM Learning System
®

The SHRM Learning System, offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management, provides an overview of key areas in HRM. Materials include six modules that correspond to the six functional areas, responsibilities, and associated knowledge of HR as defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Besides being a powerful tool to prepare for the PHR or SPHR certification exams, the SHRM Learning System course provides excellent professional development for those working in HR. The course may be taken for credit and applied toward an undergraduate degree, if desired. CUA is proud to offer its DC courses in partnership with the Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area (HRA-NCA, the DC Chapter of SHRM) and its Rockville, Maryland, courses in partnership with the Montgomery County Chapter of SHRM.

SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management™
The SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management, offered in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management, is an ideal course for those who are
new to human resources or who simply wanting to strengthen their employee management skills. "Essentials" can help make you a better manager, protect your company from needless litigation, and help advance your career.

Master of Arts in Human Resource Management
If you have a bachelor's degree and an interest in managing human resources, this program will prepare you for the next level of your professional career. The program provides comprehensive exposure to the full range of HR concepts, principles, and practice.     Link: Master's in HRM

 


Master of Science in Management (Human Resources Track)
This program provides exposure to HR practices and concepts in the context of a general management degree.  The emphasis of the program is on developing  management skills, knowledge, and applications.
