The program for those pursuing an M.A. in HRM following the Federal HR Track consists of a total of 12 courses, or 36 semester credits, and requires approximately 22 months to complete. Students must earn at least a 'B' grade point average (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) - both overall and on final projects completed as part of the capstone course.
Courses within the program are designed specifically to provide the knowledge and skills needed by HR professionals working in the U.S. Federal Government. The program consists of the following courses:

• MBU 632 Compensation and Benefits in the Federal Sector
• MBU 633 Legal Environment of HR in the Federal Sector
• MBU 635 Performance Management in the Federal Sector
• MBU 637 Strategies and Practices in Federal Staffing
• MBU 638 Strategic Human Capital Management in the Federal Sector
• MBU 673 Master's Capstone: Research, Synthesis, Applications
