A professional development opportunity for students, service providers, and administrators!

The Human Services Delivery Institute is designed to develop participants' holistic understanding of the human and social services profession. It provides attendees with the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills needed to enhance their services delivery and administrative competencies.

  • Complete the Institute and earn 6 undergraduate academic credits*
  • Roll Institute credits into the Human Services Administration Certificate or into a bachelor's degree with a Human Services Administration track

Human Services Delivery Institute… register for both of these courses:

MSO 334 Human Services Delivery: A Comprehensive Evaluation

  • 6:10 - 9:30 p.m., Tuesdays & Thursdays, May 19 - June 23
  • Content: Provides an overview of the practice of human/social services. Participants engage with instructors and each other to explore environmental contexts and historical trends of human services delivery, and the role and resources of various agencies within the local community.

MSO 335 Human Services Delivery: Skills, Strategies, and Resources for Practice

  • 6:10 - 9:30 p.m., Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 25 - July 30
  • Content: Focuses on developing helping strategies and techniques, establishing and using helping relationships, strengthening problem-solving skills, improving multicultural competencies, and managing administrative procedures.

*The Institute courses are also available on a non-credit basis.
